I’m using the latest version of the plugin, which is excellent in so many ways.
The only thing that is letting it down is how **slow** it is.

I’ve been using YSlow service and a Plugin Profiler to profile the site files, and it shows clearly that the AI1EC is by far the slowest part of the site. One obvious oddity is the 470kb main CSS file for the plugin (called dfa76e2c_ai1ec_passed_css.css on my site). I’m not an expert on minification, but I see that most other HTML and CSS files are being minified usefully, but this one isn’t.

Why does this have to be large? What can we do to reduce this?
