What to do if all posts and pages disappeared

    I just want to report this and the solution.

    All my posts and pages disappeared. Using phpMyAdmin I looked at the wordpress database table. The wp_posts table was marked “in use”
    I tried exporting the database, but the wp_posts table inserts did not show up.

    So I followed the instructions below on how to repair MySQL tables. I selected wp_posts and the repair

    This seems like a good thing to know and would be the first thing I would look at if all your posts and pages disappear.

    Thanks!!!! That did the trick… Since I’m using cpanel it was actually even easier.. just had to click on mysql and then on repair.
