• Hi,

I use a lot of ThemeForest themes, which often come with dozens of pre-designed pages that come ready-to-use when you install the demo content. Until now, I’ve always deleted the extra demo pages after I finished building a site. But I’m using a theme now with tons of great page templates that I’d like to keep ‘in the site’ ready for future use.

However, I don’t the site to look like it has crap content in it, especially to the search engines. So I’m wondering if there’s an easy way to keep all the pages ‘in the site’ while keeping them out of the search engines and keeping them inaccessible to visitors.

As I was writing that last paragraph, it occurred to me that I could change them all to unpublished drafts… Is that the best way to deal with demo content after a site goes live, or is there a better way to handle keep all those pages ready for future use, but not really part of the site?

Thanks in advance for any advice on this ??
