What were you thinking?

  • I could never explain this to a user who just wants to add a post. They want simple and clear, not over complicated spaghetti. As a developer, I’m also resentful that you expect me to learn JavaScript as if that’s no big deal. Boo. Make it go away.

  • I totally get that we’re adding another layer of complexity to a user who just wants to write content. However, that’s just one type of user. There are an overwhelming amount of people who build their sites with WordPress and want more site building tools and features. We work to find that balance. I think we’re getting a lot closer. Thanks for giving Gutenberg a go!
