basically, there are various things wrong with my site, code-based, that I need to figure out how to fix, but I’m not so good at diagnosing those problems. I was wondering what the best method is for doing such a thing? I have firebug but I try and use it and it makes no sense to me.

The following is wrong with my site that is frustrating me-
    1. the header is hanging down and I can’t figure out how to move it back up,
    2. there is an area on my home page with three blurbs of text- there are no hyphens in it even though they are necessary. words just cut off and start on the next line without a hyphen. I’ve never seen this before and have no idea how to fix it,
    3. At the bottom of my site I want my form and my picture to display side by side, but the picture is displaying above the form.

If you could tell me how to use firebug (I guess) to diagnose these problems, I would be eternally grateful, because then I wouldn’t have to bother you with such silly questions in the future ?? Thanks!
