• I’m attempting to install NextGEN gallery however the admin pages don’t look the same as a website I’m previous worked on where the NextGEN gallery is still working fine. What difference? Well for starters in the main wordpress navigation area where the NextGen Gallery admin button resides there is not icon next to the option.
    Then on the general options pages where it lists all of the Server Settings in my working version all the settings are blue where as on the system that is not working they are black. (here they are incase you need them)

    * Operating System : Linux
    * Server : Apache
    * Memory usage : 15.36 MByte
    * MYSQL Version : 5.0.68-percona-3-log
    * SQL Mode : Not set
    * PHP Version : 5.2.2
    * PHP Safe Mode : Off
    * PHP Allow URL fopen : On
    * PHP Memory Limit : 32M
    * PHP Max Upload Size : 8M
    * PHP Max Post Size : 8M
    * PHP Max Script Execute Time : 15s
    * PHP Exif support : Yes ( V1.4 )
    * PHP IPTC support : Yes
    * PHP XML support : Yes

    Next off I have created a gallery but it will not allow me to create the thumbnails? I’ve attempted to create them by going into the Manage Gallery>clicking on the gallery from the list>Then no thumbnails are currently showing. So I’ve placed a tick in all of the listed image and then from the drop down selected “create thumbnail images” nothing happens.

    This problem has been solved – It was CHMOD not being correct set.
    However if anyone does know of any websites, articles or blog posts on the most efficient way to trouble shoot conflicting plugins please post below. Also is there any website/wiki setup where people can post known conflicts between plugins. Think this would be a great resource.
