What’s the difference between Visit/Visitors

Hi, I installed this plugin recently and am having a hard time trying to understand the graphics. There are two lines, one showing the number of visitors and one showing “visit”. I’m no native speaker of English, so, could you please, enlighten me on this matter? By “visit”, do you mean the number of visits performed by the visitors? E.g.: 4 visitor visited the website 25 times?
