What's the easiest way to do a featured image grid?

I’m new to wordpress. I’m using a genesis based theme.

I want to create a portfolio page which will list all our projects. The page needs to be a grid of featured images, like this: https://www.stg-ing.com/realisations.php

Basically, create one post for each project, set a featured image to each project, and then the portfolio page should output a grid of the featured images of all posts, linking to each individual project.

How would one go about doing this?
