what’s the max number of users?

  • What is the maximum number of users on UM?
    We have over 11k and are growing quite fast.
    I read on most servers the maximum number of sub-directories is 32k and UM has a sub-directory for each user.
    Does that mean that UM will stop working after 32k users?
    How does UM handle so many users & sub-directories?

  • They’re not subdirectories. It uses Mod Rewrite to rewrite URLs to be more SEO friendly.
