• Really don’t understand all the negative fuzz….

Do these naysayers prefer WordPress to stay behind with block-building and let Wix, Weebly, Squarespace, etc. take over more and more of the market?

Or maybe they think it is better to have 20+ different (mostly commercial) types of pagebuilders to choose from, which actually confuses a majority of WP newcomers a lot.

TinyMCE has been around since 2004 and most starters want more then a Notepad to create their website. Columns and more advanced settings are really needed to keep competing with the growing competition.

For everyone who doesn’t like Gutenberg; you can simply disable it, so what’s your problem?

Thanks @onno454 for the review and taking time to explore Gutenberg. Is there any feature or block you would love to see in Gutenberg?

    I’m missing at the moment:
    Table border color and thickness.
    Column background color setting.

Auto equal height columns would be a nice one to have.

    Agree!

Many people do not have a problem with the Gutenberg plugin itself but the problem is that they want to make this as a core feature.

I use I total different editor so this Gutenberg feature will just take more load on my server and nothing else.

If WordPress would have decided to make this as a plugin pre-installed nobody would have a damn problem with it because they can delete it.

Well, I had to submit a ticket after upgrading to Guttenberg. The font selection and size functionality has disappeared. Don’t know if this has to do with a conflict with our theme but everything was working great until I updated us to Guttenberg and now when you post, you can’t select a font size or different font selections. There is no 12 pt, or 14 pt, or 16 pt, etc…There is only paragraph or headers.

    What happened??
