    Hi Matthias,

    1. Set your website timezone in General Settings.

    2. Use the hours and/or minutes attributes to get a result for the needed timezone – GMT, UTC, or other. For example, if your website is in the UTC+8 timezone then you may subtract 8 hours to get the current UTC time.
    [wpdts-date-time hours="-8"] UTC

    3. You can do this for any timezone when you know the difference between your website’s timezone and the requested one in hours or minutes.

    Please let me know if this works for you.

    PS: The shortcode still does not support daylight saving time changes for such calculations, so you will need to manually change +/-1 hour for Summer/Winter time if needed.

    thanks a lot … indeed, for UTC you would have to take daylight saving into account.
