Whats the user tab in the menu?

    Hello, now I have no doubt this has been answered before but I couldn’t find any answers for it, in the wordpress admin there is a list option called Users, what is that? How do people sign up for that? And do they find out about site updates or anything, most people will be able to explain this for me I’m sure, I’m still a bit new…

    Ok, so I found a page that tells me what the User tab in the menu is for, but I am still unsure how someone could add themselves to this list. Shouldn’t it be that only I can add people? As someone has been added to this list without my knowledge and I’m unsure how or why.. please help…

    Go to: Admin Dashboard>Settings>General>un-check ‘Anyone Can Register’>No one can then use the register link to add themselves as a user.

    Then go to: Admin Dashboard>Users>check the box next to any user you desire to be removed from site>Click pull down ‘Bulk Actions’ and Select delete>Apply.>These users and their data are deleted.
