Tablepress accounts for tons of ‘transient’ rows in the database. What gives and how to prevent this?

    e.g. –

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

TablePress only these transients for caching the generated HTML table output, as well as for storing lists of transient names of these cached outputs (per table). This results in faster page loading as generating this HTML output can be expensive, e.g. with large tables or for tables with many Excel formulas.

For details on the used transients, please see https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/updates-to-tablespress-content-not-showing/#post-8846880

This post also contains two possibilities to turn this caching off (so that no further transients will be created).

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

    Test the Premium-Version

I have been a TablePress user for 1.5 years. The code was the best for this purpose. Very flexible! At the time I donated an amount because I was very satisfied.

I would very much like to buy the premium version for 79.00 euros. Is there a possibility of a limited test-trial? The points (responsive, design, buttons etc.) are very important to me. I am interested in these and a few other details. I would like to take a quick look at these functions.

A 3-day test would be enough for me.

    Is that possible?

    Kind regards

    Hi @lilaeule,

    thanks for your message here!

At this time, it’s not directly possible to test the premium version. The feature can instead be seen on the TablePress website, and in addition, I have a very open 30-days no questions asked refund policy, so that you can be sure to get your money back, should you not like the premium version.

For more, as this concerns the TablePress premium versions, I would please need to ask you to get in touch via email, to the email address from the bottom of https://tablepress.org/pricing/
If you want, you can of course also write in German!
(Due to the forum’s rules, I’m not allowed to provide help for the premium versions here in these forums. Thanks for your understanding!)

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

    Hi Tobias,

can’t I set the CSS code for each table individually? That would be an important function for the different tables. Otherwise the code would be very long.

But so far I can only find one code area for all tables. What if you want to design 10 different tables?

    Best regards

    Hallo Jürgen,

I just replied to your email which had this question as well, and provided some more thorough explanations ??

    Best wishes,
