Whatsapp button opens web link on mobile

  • Hello,

    when I open my website on mobile iPhone and click on the button it opens whatsapp website link in safari instead of taking me to the app.

    Any idea why?

    Also checked this on asus zenphone 4 and problem is there too.

    Have you updated to the latest version and the issue still persists?
