    Hello,

    I found that while sharing any product link (woo commerce installed) to Facebook or other Social Media, it is correctly picking up the Main (primary) product image.
    However, while sharing to Whatsapp, it always picks up the last image from the Gallery images of that same product page. This issue occurs only while sharing on Whatsapp.

    I tried with various products from our Site Shop, but the result is same.
    If image is correctly displaying for FB and others, that means that site and og data is correctly implemented and working fine. Even the images and their size seems proper and meets requirements. That is why, atleast showing up (but only the last one).

    Can you please try to replicate the same on few of the products from below URL-

    Is there any setting to correct this issue. Or is it a bug or glitch in the TSF.
    In either case, can you please suggest how to resolve this. And help to fix it.

    PS: We are not using any other SEO plugin. And a very-very minimum set of plugins only.

    Hello!

    I’m afraid we cannot influence which image WhatsApp picks from the Open Graph image array. The solution is to provide only one image instead.

    If you wish only to provide the primary image via TSF (which I recommend), please go to “SEO Settings > Social Meta Settings > General > Social Image Settings,” untick “Output multiple Open Graph image tags,” and save the settings.

    Then, clear your site’s caches, and wait for WhatsApp to flush through its caches. WhatsApp should eventually pick the primary product image.

    Hello,

    Yes, I would like to have it pick the Primary (Main) image of the product while sharing it to Social Media including WhatsApp.

    I will try to follow the steps you suggested.

    However, there is one more thing, as this option is kept as Enabled currently ( “Output multiple Open Graph image tags,”), then also, it is Not asking user to Select any image (from the available ones), while sharing to Social Media.
    I mean, while sharing to FB also, it is Not asking, which one shall the USER picks or use to select while sharing the product page.

    I think, this option is supposed to ask first (to choose from the available images), as mentioned in the settings-

    “This enables users to select any image attached to the page shared on social networks, like Facebook.”

    Please correct me, If I am wrong.
    Similarly, for Whatsapp also, it is not asking or enabling users to select the image. Rather picking up the last thumbnail image automatically (out of all of the available images), on the Product page.

    Can you please try to replicate the same on few of the products from that above shared URL.
    Please suggest and resolve

    Hello again!

    We cannot ask social networks which image to select: they automatically choose one based on dimensions, filesize, perhaps among other algorithmic checks.

    Limiting their options (number of OG images) is the only way to enforce the chosen file, provided it’s within their limits.
