Whatsapp Support

    great plugin you got there.
    It’s very easy to customize and leightwight. I like it.

    Is it possible to add a support for whatsapp share links? Maybe even for the current site?

    Example:
    <a href="whatsapp://send" data-text="Schau dir das mal an!" data-href="" class="wa_btn wa_btn_s" style="display:none">Share</a>

    Example2:
    whatsapp://send?text=Lies dir "Share+to+WhatsApp+in+die+eigene+Seite+einbauen" bei Netzleben durch! https%3A%2F%2Fnetzleben.com%2Fblog%2Fshare-to-whatsapp-in-die-eigene-seite-einbauen

    Hello,

    Thanks for your suggestion, but I’m afraid that this is not something that we want to add in the widget, as its purpose is to link to social profiles, not to share links or articles.

    By the way, Jetpack Sharing includes WhatsApp sharing buttons for posts:

    I don’t really like jetpack, because its to overloaded with functions i don’t need / i’m already using.

    thank you for your answer. Is it at least possible to allow spaces in custom fields? Or decoded url structures? Saw tel:+849383749473 is already working (like skype). Whatsapp could work too, but requiere spaces for the text.

    Example:
    WhatsApp://send?text=Schau%20dir%20diese%20Seite%20mal%20an%3A%20data-href%3D%22%22
