When copy/paste link to facebook, strange letters appear?

    When i copy/paste link from my post on the blog to facebook wall i get strange letter… My database have propper encoding and in my blog show corect, only in facebook wall show strange? Any ideas?

  • It’s probably formatting.

    I would simply load the page with the link I want copy, right click on the link, and select “Copy Link Location”, and paste that.

    When i do what you say, there is no content of the post, only link with picture…

    So you’re trying to copy the entire post, as opposed to just a link?

    You’ll have to copy each paragraph separately, or do as I do, and create your posts in a text editor before you place them in your blog or on facebook.

    It makes the process a lot easier, plus you have an extra backup of your posts.

    I want to copy url of post as a link and on wall of FB.

    Let me get this straight; You want to place a link to your site/blog on your facebook wall?

    You can go to the post edit box to copy the Permalink from there, or click on the “Get Shortlink” button, and a small form will pop up with the link inside it.

    I’m not sure if the shortlink will work from an external site though, but the permalink should.
