When Editing a Post, Rich Text Editor Won’t Load

When editing a post (as in the post is already written and live on the blog and I have then either pressed edit from the post itself or gone in through manage posts and then edit), the rich-text editor will NOT load. Sometimes my text will load in the box in html format but no formatting, which means images that were linked become unlinked if I press “save”. This wasn’t an issue until the past week or so. I can’t get around it…. UNLESS… I hit any other link (for example, I usually click the manage button since it is close to stop) and then VERY QUICKLY (as in before it loads the next page) hit the stop button. THEN the rich text edtior loads with my text in the box. BUT the text formatting is then off. (Turns it into a font that I don’t use.)

Any ideas what could be causing this error?
