    Hello,

I have been migrating (creating thru copy/paste) 30 posts from my current Qtranslate installation to a new multiste environment with MLS, and 3 site /fr, /en, /es (around 90 posts).
So, when I create a new post, the MLS widget that allows to link with the same post in another site / language is pretty populated.

Now, the problem is that this list is alphabetically ordened so if the post is at the end of this list, it does not appear. I thought that I could scroll with the mouse but reaching what I thought was the end of the list, the post did not appear. I believed that I did some error so I was deleting and recreating the post with no effect. I tried everything, up to rebooting as I thought it could be a problem of cache.

Until I discovered that using the keyboard, I can scroll to the bottom of the list and find the post in another language, while it is not possible with the mouse.

I believe this problem is known, but I did not find anything warning about this. As I have been messing with that 2 hours, I think there should be some documentation about this.

Do not hesitate to ask for any precision.
    Regards,
    Jean-Pierre

This is the first time I red something about an issue like this. The next version has normal text-inputs with autocoplete so this problem will not persist.

Well, what did happen is that I was using the mousepad on the keyboard. Later I discovered that the scroll-wheel on the mouse can be used, or that, without a mouse, you must use the keyboard.

But I believe there should be some visual indication when the list is not fully displayed because I though that I had a problem with the creation of the post. Or at least something alerting about this in some doc.

Also, it might be interesting to be able to list the post by date of creation and not only by alphabetical order, so that the last one keeps on the first row. As the post have different titles in different languages, they don’t appear at the same row in the list and with 60 posts, it means scrolling up and bottom to find the good one.

Also, I has 2 posts with the same very long title and (1/2) or (2/2) at the end of the title. But I could not see this (1/2) or (2/2) as the title was larger than the list.

Reading your posts again made me doubtful … do you use the current version from the WordPress Plugin Directory or the developer version at GitHub?

    (@jpfayolle)

Yes I installed it thru wordpress.
Remember that the problem is just because using the wordpad, I don’t have scroll-wheel and I had to figure using the keyboard, but the main point is that visually, there is no indication that you need to scroll in the list, so I was thinking that the post was not created.

I have migrated (copy/pasted) the 60 posts x 3 languages and created all the links between them. I moved from dev.qualilogy.com to qualilogy.com and solved all the problems caused by moving a multisite intallation.

I did not have to play with mls% entries you indicated me, just changing the domain is OK, but I had to do it in more than the wp_options table.

    Should I close these topics?

Yes you can close them. Thank you very much for your input. I will keep that in mind for the next versions.

I believe I have seen a setting allowing to order alphabetically so I suppose that without this activated, it will be orderer by the creation date (which is not the publication date), so that the last one would be at the top of the list.
I will test it when I’ll have time (this migration has been an heavy work amd I still have a lot of verification to do).

The order of the flags/links in the widget is by language code or description so a visitor will see the output in the same way all the time.
