I sell digital products and some of the file sizes can be very large. I notice that I can now backup the blog but the uploads just give a warning they have encountered a large file size and then it hangs. Is there a way to exclude certain files to get the rest to backup? I would imagine the only way to determine which ones they feel are too large is to just wait until the next warning and then add that one to be excluded? Is there a better plugin for backing up large files for uploads to Google Drive?

    Hi,

In the UpdraftPlus settings, under the remote storage options there is a section “Include in files backup” here there is an option “Exclude these” where you can enter files to exclude from the backup set.

In order to help with this issue further please could you send us a copy of the latest backup log where this error occurs?

This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab.

The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Pastebin, and post the link here.

    Best Wishes,

    Ashley
