    Use /?redirect_to=random.
When have a or many STICKY posts, it always redirect to the last sticky post.
I think it should be in a different way, e.g. /?redirect_to=random&status=sticky.

It’s not a bug but the logical behavior. The redirection always goes to the first post according to the chosen search criteria, and sticky posts are always on top.

I will add a parameter to turn that off. WordPress provides for this case “ignore_sticky_posts”, that should do the trick.

I decided to ignore the stickiness of sticky posts by default. This reverses the WordPress default behavior, but it probably matches better the expectations of users. The parameter ignore_sticky_posts can be used to turn on stickiness again.
