• Hi,

I currently have 2 posts up on my site. For both of them I used the ‘more’ button so that only part of the post shows – and then the reader would click to read the rest of the post. This is working fine (and good for SEO). Anyway, when I add a third post and do that same to that one I begin to have trouble. The font on the second post is all of sudden huge and the first post is squished and tiny at the bottom. The sidebar is gone – and or at the bottom of the page too. Why? What can I do to fix? The url is https://www.mindfulparentscommunity.com I don’t have the ‘messed up’ version up because it was too painful for me to look at. Any help would be greatly appreciated – I’m new to all this stuff and am not thrilled with anthing that doesn’t go according to plan!

    Thanks!

  • Make sure that you leave at least 1 blank line before and after the <!-- more --> tag?.

Thanks for your advice. I tried that though and it still is messed up. I am leaving it messed up (for the time being) to show you (and anyone else out there who can help me) The site is https://www.mindfulparentscommunity.com

Thank you if you can help me with this!

I can only see 2 posts on the site’s front page and they look fine to me (checked in Firefox 3 and IE8). You’ve got some validation errors but nothing major – and certainly nothing that should cause the effect you describe. Am I missing something? Can you point me at the right page?

Thanks. I fixed the problem. Not sure why, but I had cut and pasted some text (as my post)from my old website and that is what was messing it up. When I have time to type it out, I’ll add it.

    Thanks!
