When I ‘blog this’ it takes time for the post to

I find that after writing up a post, somtimes it takes time for the post to show up on the blog. I’m wondering if WordPress inherited the same problem that b2 had, like this: https://tidakada.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=1563#6988
Do you think that would fix it, or is there a better way?
