When I log in it redirects to an IP address?

    Just worked to install wordpress on a client’s host. The host is somewhat archaic, but I managed to get all the files up via FTP and got the database installed. I went through the 5-min install via my web browser, and I can get to the login page and view the site, but when I try to log in it takes forever and then sends me to https://71.34.155.204/$ which isn’t really a location at all.

    The site works and looks fine, but the error occurs when I try to log in. I don’t want to post the login info for obvious reasons, any other ideas?

    Is there anything in your .htaccess file and if so can you post it if it’s not too many lines?

    Are you using custom or default permalinks?
