When is bothered that do the translations?
-
I have made a German translation.
it-l10n-better-wp-security-de_DEin wp-content\plugins\better-wp-security\languages not work
in in wp-content\languages\plugins partly works
the dashboard is translated displayed but in all other settings only a white page appears.

Also muss die po-Datei “it-l10n-better-wp-security-de_DE” hei?en.
Verzeihen Sie mein schlechtes Deutsch.
übersetzungen ist etwas lieb zu mir und etwas, was ich arbeite hart an der Umsetzung bei iThemes. Leider verwenden wir eine eigene Verpacker, die einfach nicht erlauben, für sie effizient erstellt werden. Bitte seien Sie versichert, dass dies etwas, was ich arbeite hart an und wird freigegeben haben, zusammen mit einer eher formalen übersetzung subbmission Programm, so bald wie m?glich.
Hi Chris!
I have already made ??for better-wp-security the German translation. The German translation is being done already to 97% for iThemes security. You just will not load.
In part, I got my translation to work.
The whole translation function has a lot of mistakes.
In the plugin are different Affiliations for translations:
– better-wp-security
– it-l10n-better-wp-securityRegards
Hi Kneibremser,
We are definitely having issues with our .pot generator it would seem. In addition, currently we have 2 versions of the plugin, free and pro, that would require separate translations. Until we can sort that out we won’t be adding any further translations.
As for the domain differences, those should have been flushed out a few versions back but three are different slugs for free vs pro.
Hi Chris!
The translations must read:
it-l10n-better-wp-security-de_DE.po
and not better-wp-security-de_DE.poMy translation is not loaded from the folder:
wp-content/plugins/better-wp-security/langFrom the Folder:
wp-content/languages/plugins
works partially.
The Dashboard is translated. But all the other tabs of the plugin are white. That looks more like a faulty function load Textdomain.
In the free version the translatable texts with “it-l10n-better-wp-security” are identified.
In modules/free/core/class-itsec-core-admin.php line 184, 191 and 194
is the textdomain better-wp-security and not it-l10n-better-wp-securityI think things have nothing to do with the pot.generator.
Regards
Edit:
in better-wp-security.php is:
line 7: Text Domain: it-l10n-better-wp-security ->this is OK
line 8: Domain Path: /languages -> this is false
change in: /lang -> this is correctThe file it-l10n-better-wp-security-de_DE.po is in the folder
wp-content/plugins/better-wp-security/lang.
Now the plugin description appears translated. If I change in the file /core/class-itsec-core.php the function load_text_domain in:
load_plugin_textdomain( ‘it-l10n-better-wp-security’, false, ‘better-wp-security/lang’ );
is translated me the dashboard. All other tabs are but blank.
Hi Chris!
Edit2:
If the files from the free version are identical in pro version. Is it really not a problem. Then you only need a pot.file for both versions. In the Pro version, the additional texts will be marked with a comment for the translator. The translator can see this comment in the program “Poedit”. Ready
We would appreciate a prompt reply.
Hi to everybody interested in this plugin’s translation,
It took me 2 days to figure out why the translation is not working (properly) !
I needed to fix several (nasty) bugs in order to get this working.
But it works perfectly now (including translation of the submenu items and the tabs).Since it took me 2 days to solve all the issues, would anybody
be interested or willing to donate a minimum of 1.11 Euro or whatever you think my solution is worth and receive the solution ?
It’s just a small amount to support my plugin bug fixing activities.
I’m thinking of collecting any donations using PayPal.Furthermore I can provide you with a link to a video demonstrating
the plugin translation in WordPress Dashboard (es_ES and\or nl_NL work in progress …) This way anyone interested will be able to evaluate upfront whether my solution is satisfactory.Let me know what you think.
2 dwinden: Can I try it on?

@xnscripter and everyone else interested,
I hope to post the video on my YouTube channel this afternoon.
Have been very busy fixing several extra localization bugs.
Now working on l10n patch documentation and testing the patch install\uninstall procedure on Windows and Linux based WordPress platforms.
Want to make sure the l10n patch for iThemes Security 4.5.6 is perfect before offering it to the public.Stay tuned for the video on the “WordPress Demo’s” YouTube channel:
