When is customer charged

    Are they automatically charged on the release date or do they have to come back and make the payment on that date? I want to know that the item is paid for before it ships, but don’t want to make it overly complicated for buyer.

    Example:
    I open preorders this Friday for delivery in 30 days. Will they be charged today or in 30 days – and do they have come back to make the payment or will they be charged automatically in 30 days?

    Hi @mwf113 ,
    customers will be charged when they place the order for the first time.
    based on your example :
    if your preorder item available in 30 days and a customer preorder it on 1st day then the customer will need to fully pay for the order on the 1st day.
    they do not have to come back to make the payment because they will be charged on that day when they order.
