When is new version coming??

Hello, Please advise when the new version will be released with the fix for the fact that the ‘subscribe’ button does nothing when clicked (it does collect the email but doesn’t tell the subscriber they are subscribed). I would appreciate a response URGENTLY as I will need to use a different plugin if this won’t be fixed very soon. Thanks. I appreciate your work and the fact that this a free plugin.
