• Version 3.26 broke many of the sites I maintain – and this isn’t the first time. When Elementor works, it looks fantastic. But when it breaks, it destroys sites. And the current timing, too, right in the middle of the busiest season for internet traffic makes you wonder who is steering this ship or if it’s just incredibly sloppy thinking. It’s totally irresponsible to release a buggy update at this time of year. It’s never really a good time to be so sloppy, but right now?!? They’re already putting a new version (not beta) on Github less than 24 hours after uploading this version. It’s shoddy testing like this that really holds back Elementor in the marketplace, reducing it to a risky liability rather than the market leader it should be.

  • Hello wcs2,

We understand how disruptive site issues can be, especially during peak traffic seasons. The recent update introduced essential improvements, but we recognize that compatibility with third-party plugins and themes may have caused unexpected problems.

While we run extensive testing, the sheer number of WordPress plugins and configurations makes it impossible to cover every scenario. After receiving community feedback, we always try to release a follow-up patch to address reported issues as quickly as possible.

We recommend ensuring all third-party plugins are updated to their latest versions, as many developers are releasing compatibility updates. If you’re still encountering issues, please reach out to our support team here. We’re committed to helping you get back on track.

Thank you for your feedback—it drives us to improve continually.

The issue is that updates break the site with the plugin you sell. If I use Pro and update the new version of Elementor, Pro breaks the site. It’s not a matter of the wealth of plugins in the WP universe. It’s the lack of testing with the one plugin advanced users are most likely to have. That’s really frustrating and why I commented the way I did.
