When new update kikfrey?

Seems like the late admin (developer) activity was a little over 4 months ago…. I hope this plugin has not been abandoned – it seems promising.

Thank you for your support. No, the plugin has not been abandoned. For something that was started with lofty goal of becoming the best WordPress Events plugin, a seemingly random end will be too ironic ?? That being said, initial adoption rate was little disheartening and did tell on the team’s morale.

With that out of the way, I am happy to report that a new release version has been prepared and will go out for testing tomorrow. It includes multiple fixes.

Meanwhile if you have any suggestions or advise for the plugin as an end user, please share with us.

You will not get a higher adoption rate unless and until you can match the features of other event/calendar plugins. I realize you spent time on front end presentation but the nuts and bolts have to work also. Recurring events, Ticket Sales, Easy editing of events… etc etc… all need to be there before you will get a higher usage.

I suggest you spend some time demoing the competition to see how they work and then incorporate some of those features into your product. For me, as of right now, Kikfyre is not usable for client sites… But I wish you good luck with your develoipment.

Hello, just downloaded the events tool and it looks very impressive.Thanks for your dedication.
I get the error: payments method not set and don’t see an option to set offline payments in the dashboard. Also having issues with editing the ticket look and feel.Just cant edit the info on the ticket.
Thanks for your help as I’d like to set this up to test a soon coming event.
