When posting on FB, it shows my headline & header, not the toon

  • My site is all about promoting my comic strip. However, if someone clicks “share” on a strip, it posts the strip title and the header art from my site rather than the strip. How can I get it to post the strip to their FB page?

  • Facebook uses open graph tags in the page to determine what is there. If those tags are not found, they grab the first image, which is likely your header image.
    WordPress does not output open graph tags, and the theme is not supposed to either. So you need a plugin to supply the tags unique to each page. A good one is Yoast SEO, but there are others.
