When reposting to Facebook, the old image is displayed

We understand that you repost a post/page on Facebook and see an old image displayed while you’ve changed the default image for all pages.

Just to clarify, does the page you are sharing have a custom image in the Yoast settings (or featured image) that differs from the default? Can you share the URL of the page so we can check the Yoast output?

We did check your homepage and see that the Open Graph image is currently pointing at https://avefrance.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/main-repost-img.jpg. Is that the expected ‘new’ image?

If so, we believe that Facebook has cached the older image. We recommend using the Facebook Debugger tool to scrape the new information for your URL again so it can update its data accordingly.
