    My name is Milo and I’m not having luck getting the Replace Image plug-in to work. When I say to replace something, it merely adds the second file, not overlays it. So the original file URL is not replaced. Can’t figure out what I could be doing wrong when I watch videos of how this plug-in SHOULD work.

    To help, I made this short video (https://youtu.be/SUQ4LHBXb0s) that shows me going through the steps and the file not replacing. Would you be so kind as to watch it and see if you can see anything I’m doing wrong? It’s only 1-? minutes. Thank you!

    In case it’s helpful, the URL of the original file is: https://thecmg.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/test-to-delete-1.pdf and the file to replace it is almost identical, ending with “test-to-delete-2.pdf” .

    I actually found someone on YouTube who made a video about how great this plug-in and shared what I was going through with her. She was stumped and suggested writing you directly. … Please know that I’m not super techy at all. I’m not even the webmaster of this site. I just do some minor things to it, like post images and PDFs that members of the organization might want to see. Thank you!!!

    I’ve followed all directions for doing the “Copy site info to clipboard” and sending that. I’ve added you to my safe senders. Wondering if you’re under the impression you’ve sent me anything since then or if it’s still in the queue. Would really like to be able to work on this site and this is a total stumbling block.
    If it helps my last note’s subject line was “RE: RE: [Replace Image] When selecting the replacement, it just adds another with different URL [#349015”

    Please help! I’ve written repeatedly to the support@ address you suggested and I’m not hearing from you back.
    Initially, i had a lot of time left to deal with this but two months have passed waiting. I’m getting a bit anxious now, as the event for which I need to make this change is coming up; I never dreamed I’d be still dealing with this after two months.

    As per an email to your support@ address a few minutes ago, no improvement. As I granted your team access to our website, please test it there before posting again that it’s resolved because, though I really appreciate your efforts, it’s not better yet.

    @miloshapiro The issue may have originated from loading a cached file. To resolve this, we’ve implemented an additional fix.
