The users we would like to sync exists in OU=N,DC=X,DC=local.

So in Environment we have setup base dn to be OU=N,DC=X,DC=local.

But our service account is not in OU=N.

So when we try to sync AD to WordPress it fails.

If we setup base dn to be DC=X,DC=local we get no authentication-issues but then we are unable to specify that it is the OU=N-users we want to sync.

Is it possible to have a base dn for service account and one group dn to specify where the users are?

@atrais At the moment there is no way to specify another base DN for a service account. You can either provide a PR for this or we can implement this feature for you as a paid service.
In both cases, the Syncrhonization\Abstract::isUsernameInDomain method has to enhanced so that a custom base DN can be used.
