    Hello need help please!
    When Smart Grid-plugin is activated – required fields dont work. It just ignores the required fields. When I deactivate the plugin …. contactform7 works with required field ok!

    this happend after updating CF7 to 5.6

    I’m also having this issue. I have a handful of required fields and when I leave those fields blank and press the submit button, it successfully submits the forms and I don’t get any info messages about this field is required. Additionally when I leave all the fields blank and select one of the options on a radio input, the info messages saying “field is required” appear on all the required input fields above.

    yes you are right …. but as I said only after updating to CF7 5.6. with older versions it works.

    The same here, the required fields or error messages stop to work when this (great) addon to CF7 is activated.

    Apology for the late reply, I was away on work/holiday in Japan and didn’t get time to chase up these requests for support.

    ok, I need to check this as CF7 Author keeps breaking extension plugins with code changes to his plugin. So likely something has changed which breaks CF7SG.

    For now please use CF7 v5.5.6.1

    I will revert back on this thread once I have fix for this.

    I finally managed to code a fix for this issue and released a v4.14beta on the repo which I have been testing today in my available spare time (between lunch and coffee breaks :).

    If you have access to a testing server, please download and manually upgrade the above version and let me know if it works for you

    v4.14.0 RC1 now fixes field validation for tabbed tables repeat fields and tabbed toggled optional fields.
