When they click 'like' they don't show up as fans on my FB page

I’ve installed a/the Facebook Like plugin.

When a user clicks on the like button it doesn’t seem to match up with the number of likes show on the Facebook page.

For example one post on my blog has 50 likes yet in Facebook the whole page only has 10 likes.

Whats going on?
