    Hi,
    I’ve been wanting to change my theme to Aino but when I try the live preview option I get a “fatal error”.
    I’ve deleted the them via FTP and reinstalled it but I still get the error:
    `
    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function gutenberg_block_template_part() in /home/customer/www/flowarte.com/public_html/wp-content/themes/aino/index.php:12 Stack trace: #0 /home/customer/www/flowarte.com/public_html/wp-includes/template-loader.php(106): include() #1 /home/customer/www/flowarte.com/public_html/wp-blog-header.php(19): require_once('/home/customer/...') #2 /home/customer/www/flowarte.com/public_html/index.php(17): require('/home/customer/...') #3 {main} thrown in /home/customer/www/flowarte.com/public_html/wp-content/themes/aino/index.php on line 12

  • Have you installed and activated the Gutenberg plugin?

    I don’t use the Gutenberg plugin. I use the latest version of WordPress.

    Aino requires Full Site Editing. WordPress 5.8 doesn’t do that, because it currently is still an experimental feature (although quite stable in my experience). The Gutenberg plugin brings Full Site Editing, so the Aino theme needs it work properly. If you install and activate the Gutenberg plugin, Aino should work as expected.

    Ahh… Thank you!
    I had no idea.

    Hi @bitcolorine yes, as @tk86 said FSE themes still need the Gutenberg plugin to be installed and active, that’s what caused the error.

    Once 5.9 is released in December we can deactivate the Gutenberg plugin when using the Aino theme.

    It’s also recommended to use our Aino Blocks plugin so you can take advantage of all the default patterns we offer with Aino.

    Let me know if you need further help ??
