When Uploading Photos For Posts, How Do I Clear Out The Gallery Cache?

  • Whenever you upload a photo for a post, you can do it “From Computer”, “From Url”, “Gallery (# of photos)”, of “Media Library”.

    I need to clear out the photos stored in “Gallery”, because the program I’m using is uploading the new ones and the old ones.

    Is there a way to do this?

  • This has nothing to do with caches. A Gallery is created when you upload 2 or more images via the Add Media button in the Edit Post page. Those images are then attached to the Post (or static Page) to create a Gallery.

    Okay. So I should be able to delete the post and I will be able to upload a fresh new batch of photos right?

    No – you would need to delete those images.
