    Hi.
First of all congratulation for AG Custom Admin Settings.
I will do a donation for your work. It’s a very complete plugin but there is an option that no run very good.
In the “ADMIN BAR” section I have selected:
    – Hide WordPress logo
    – Hide site name in admin bar
    – Hide admin bar “Comments”
    – Hide admin bar “New” content completely
I have also changed black colour of “admin bar” in pink colour.
When user LOG IN in its section, logo, site name, comments and new are hided. Also the colour of the admin bar is changed in pink.
But when user entry in my web page (guasch.eu) and NO LOG IN in its section, “administration bar” show “wordpress logo” and the colour of administration bar is black.
So, before LOG IN, the option that I have selected are no activated.
(When user Log Out, the changes in Administration Bar are not visible).
    I don’t know why…?
If you want you can entry in my page (guasch.eu) and you can seen “wordpress log” and “administration bar” is black colour. So you can LOG UP an user and after “administration bar” will be “pink” and logo will be hided.
Only add that I use ENFOLD THEME, and BUDDYPRESS.
Is it your pluguin compatible with ENFOLD THEME, and BUDDYPRESS?

    Can you help me?
    Thank’s very much.

  • Hi,
What are your WordPress and AGCA version? It should be compatible with BuddyPress but I’m not sure for that theme. Can you test it with different theme, i.e. default WordPress theme? Thanks!

    Hi @argonius,
I have tested your plugin in a new page (mariacasas.net).
    In this page there are:
    WordPress default theme
    WordPress Versión 4.1
    BuddyPress Versión 2.1.1
    AG Custom Admin Versión 1.4.2
    There are no more plugins.

In the “ADMIN BAR” section I have selected:
    – Do not apply customizations for Administrator – field marked
    – Hide WordPress logo – field marked
    – Hide site name in admin bar – field marked
    – Hide admin bar “Comments” – field marked
    – Hide admin bar “New” content completely – field marked
I have also changed black colour of “admin bar” in pink colour.

The result I have had this is the follow:

CASE (1) – When user LOG IN in its section, “logo”, “site name”, “comments” and “new content” are hided. Also the colour of the admin bar has changed in pink.

    You can seen the picture
    https://mariacasas.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/AG-CUSTOM-NO-ERROR-LOGO-WORDPRESS-WHEN-LOG-IN.png

CASE (2) – When user LOG OUT and entry in my web page (mariacasas.net), “administration bar” show “wordpress logo” and the colour of administration bar is black.
    You can seen the picture
    https://mariacasas.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/AG-CUSTOM-ERROR-LOGO-WORDPRESS-WHEN-LOG-OUT.png

So, when user log out, changes are no apllied.
Do I need mark another optinion in orden to aplly changes when users log out and when No User (extenal visitants) entry in my web?
Or this is an error of the plugin?

    Do you understand the problem?
    Can you help me?

    Thank’s very much.

There was a compatibility issue with BuddyPress. We have just updated the plugin. Please try it out. Thanks!

    Hi @argonius,
I contact you for a suggestion for a perfect integration between:
    1. “AG Custom Admin” and “BuddyPress”
    2. “AG Custom Admin” and Plugins that allow users to do SIGN IN or SIGN UP from facebook.

A lot of webs now use plugin that allow users to do SIGN IN or SIGN UP from facebook.
When “USER NO REGISTRATED” go in a web, it can see “horitzonatal administration bar” where there is “LOG IN” and “LOG UP” WordPress default.
Usually administrators create a especial botton (SIGN IN and SIGN UP) in initial page that redirect users in a especial page (created by administrator), where users only can see the widget “facebook log in” (in order to bypass “LOG IN” and “LOG UP” WordPress default).

So, I think you need add to “AG Custom Admin” the follow option:

    1. Hide admin bar only when user are LOG OUT

This option is a good solution for a webs with “BuddyPress” and for a webs without BuddyPress.
    Why?
Becouse when user are “LOG IN”:
    1. In webs with BuddyPress: users need admin bar (in order to look notifications, message, groups, etc…)
    2. In webs without BuddyPress: users can need admin bar (in order to add a new post, etc…).

At this moment, “AG Custom Admin” only provides the following options:

    Hide admin bar completely
Remove admin bar customizations on site pages
Remove admin bar on site pages

I think you must add also the following option:

“Hide admin bar inly when user are LOG OUT”

So, administrator can have more flexibility in order to design its webs.

Do you understand what I tell you?

Do you will want to add this option?
    Is it simple and fast?

If you will add this botton, when users can have disponible this option?
    1 week?
    1 month?
    3 month?

    I hope your answers.
    Thank’s
