When will WP stop supporting old versions of html?

    Will WordPress eventually stop supporting older versions of html, & only support html5? If so, when will this happen?

    But it’s not WordPress that creates the themes, so how could WordPress limit this even if that decision was made?

    Also, most themes these days support HTML5, and I doubt they will drop support for HTML4, because there’s no reason to, and there actually is no way to “stop supporting” other versions of HTML. You might be surprised to know that your site probably even supports HTML2.
