If you plan on directly asking to the customer, you can use Checkout Field Editor. This allows you to add custom fields on the Checkout page that you can use to ask for more information like this.

Otherwise, you could start using Google Analytics with our WooCommerce Google Analytics extension. This might require some setup on the Google side as well.
