    Hello –

Where in the DB are the redirects stored in the DB? Somehow there are 301 entries with empty fields that were saved that is causing the site to show “ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS” until I disable the plugin. Even if I Deactivate and delete the plugin, and reinstall it, the same entries are showing and it causes the site to go down again. I need to remove the original entries that are stored and redo them.

Also, please have your plugin clean up after itself when the plugin is removed from the site or at least include an option in the options panel to delete all data upon deactivation.

    Thanks

    Hi @viablethought,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the late reply.
The issue you are facing may cause the plugin conflict issue. You can do a plugin conflict test.

And to remove the links for Simple 301 Redirects from the Database you need to login your database first and then open the wp_options table and then search 301_redirects as option_name and then you need to remove the links from here. You can check this screen record as well.

Hope this will help you. Thanks!

Thanks, I found them in the wp_options table and was able to clear things out and get it working again. The issue was that imports are adding empty “cells” during imports and the UI doesn’t allow you to delete them there, you have to manually go into the DB and remove them.

This is the 2nd time on 2 different sites this has happened during imports.

    Thanks

    Hi @viablethought,

I tried importing links from the CSV file, and I didn’t get any empty cells after importing the CSV file. Check this screen record. You can check your CSV file once.

Hope you understand. Let us know the update.

    Thanks!
