where are posts and pages stored?

that sorta answers my question i guess. but if everythings stored in Phpmyadmin, then am i ok to replace everything in the wordpress folder except for the the theme stuff? Will i screw up anything?

Im not too sure which thread you read — The first one that comes up in that search says very clearly that posts are stored in your database. phpmyadmin is NOT your database — its a tool that allows you to access your database. A similar analogy would be saying that Firefox is the Internet.

You database is NOT files. Does that answer your question?
