Where are the backup saved?

For example, if I lose my entire access to my wp blog (which happened recently), how do I get those files back to restore?

When BackUpWordPress creates a folder inside your /wp-content/ folder where your backups are stored. If you loose access to your site, you’ll need to FTP into your site and copy down the backup ZIPs. Your host will have more information on this.
