Where are the error logs of Block Fake GoogleBots

    Where can i find information ie Error logs etc about attempts to send a Fake Googlebot to my webs site ?

    I assume when you set this Option within the Firewall pages, erroneous attempts will be logged with relevant info?

    Hi John,
    No logs are produced in this case.
    Generally, logs would be produced in this plugin for cases when something goes wrong within the code logic of this plugin.

    Maybe what you are talking about might serve a useful purpose to have a log of some kind but I will need to think about this before putting one in.

    Hello,

    I have an issue at present where i get failures with Fetch with Google returning zero content with a HTTP code of 200. This issue is also affecting Sitemaps.

    My hosting company is asking for proof that i believe it is their issue, and i cannot do that.

    The other point about this problem is that Cloudflare are involved, as the name servers point to them, as they are providing SSL certificates for my conversion from HTTP to HTTPS. and they are also indicating it is nothing to do with them either. SO i am left here high and dry with nowhere to go in getting a resolution to this issue.

    This is why i was hoping you could come to the rescue.

    Hi John,
    I recommend for now that you disable the block fake googlebot feature.

    Get in touch with me via my contact form (see my profile) and I will put some debug in the code you can use for your investigations.
