Where are the i18n WordPress versions stored (SVN)?

That seems to be right, according to https://make.www.ads-software.com/polyglots/handbook/translating/working-with-the-translation-repository/ though it is a draft.

Some translations are managed separately, though they shouldn’t be.

Does that mean there is no centralized way to access the official localized files only but to extract the official .zip files? The sr_RS (Serbian) localized files for instance are accessible via SVN, which is great, but ar (Arabic) aren’t, so I assume those are managed separately. Does that mean that the translation teams themselves build the .zip files?

That would appear to be the case, though I’m no expert on the process myself, but on the other hand https://make.www.ads-software.com/polyglots/handbook/translating/packaging-localized-wordpress/#packaging-process suggests that they *should* all be in SVN.
