• I installed this so that I could use a menu item to display a quick newsletter form in the drop down area. However, nothing is showing on my website. I have tried looking at some of the support tickets and it looks like you are supposed to add something to the functions.php, but there is nothing in the installation that mentions that.

You are not supposed to add anything in functions.php to make it work, but if you’re adding a custom shortcode for a theme, then that shortcode can go in functions.php file.

About plugin not displaying anything, well, that happens if the shortcode is not initialised before the nav menu is generated.

Which plugin you’re using for newsletters and which shortcode you’re trying to add in the nav menu?

I have the “Before and After Gallery” plugin installed on my WordPress 4.4.2.

I tried to add the simple shortcode that is generated by my gallery plugin to the Shortcode-in-Menus’ menu box ‘[onclick=”triggerBeforeAfterGallery(0)”]‘.
It wants to place the shortcode into the description, which then overrides the menu link and only shows the coding.

Nothing happens when I click on the Gallery link in my navigation menu.

    My site is https://zionlioncleaning.com

    Please help ASAP!
