where are the tags?

  • where in the WP files will I find the code that defines tags such as the_title() , the_title_rss(), etc.?

  • Do you not have the ability to “search content” on your computer?? You should look for how to do it because it can be very helpful with WP! Mine says they are in template-functions-post.

    Yes I have that ability but was assuming, incorrectly I guess, that it would turn up so many WP files that it wouldn’t help me.

    Nah, the functions are generally in just a few pages. But occasionally you will find them in more so pay attention to the files in the includes directory as that is where most of the functions are located.
