where are wordpress .po and .mo?

    Hi,
    I recently changed the language of my wordpress installation from fr_FR to us_US.
    I would like to change some words but I can’t find any .po file. What should I do ?

  • Try and see if you find in:

    — wp-content/languages/theme
    — wp-content/themes/XXXXX/languages

    Thanks @seoger for your response
    It was about the wordpress itself. Finally I changed the language to en_GB (temporarily) and this forced the system to download the en_GB translations. I renamed them, made the changes and I am OK ??
