A lot of the pizazz of that theme is simply added by the header graphic, the images in the posts, and a couple of sidebar widgets.

Beneath all that, it looks like what moshu said ~ basically Kubrick theme. Most of the fonts, colors, list-style in the sidebar, is straight from the Default theme, which is good looking for those aspects (it’s readable text).

Nice themes choice, okay if I found similar one, I will inform you about gamer babble like themes.

Does anyone know how to add some sidebar widgets similar to it?

The only things looking fancy in the sidebar are Twitter and Flickr. The site might be using a widget to show these, or they might just be embedding the code that you can get from those sites, Twitter, and Flickr.

Otherwise the sidebar is pretty much ordinary stuff like categories and archives.

Please be specific if there is 1 element you seek to replicate.

My bad, when I posted this I didn’t understand what widgets were, but im actually looking at how I can duplicate a similar type of border as well as to replace the header which includes the image space but also the outside structure.

Their border is kinda odd, not sure how they did that, but again it isn’t too far off from what moshu said: the default theme.

On the header, the default theme has just what you asked: the ability to replace the header image, while the header borders remain intact and matching the rest of the site.

The border is an image. Fire up the GIMP and have at it. Or right click and …………no ………….

hey guys. just saw this. That is in fact my site and yes it is just the kubrick theme with modified header and background images. the border is in the background and header images just aligned together. Ambitious if you would like the PSDs of the background and header so you can do one similar to it let me know. Contact info is on the site.
