Where did Share Buttons by AddThis come from?

  • Hi,
    I’m not sure if this relates to this forum or not. My WordPress install is basically new (maybe 3-4 months old). I see I have an activated plugin called Share Buttons by AddThis.

    Is this related to or part of the basic WordPresss install? I don’t recall intentionally installing it. I’m wondering if I can remove it without affected core WordPress functionality.

    Is this plugin part of some other plugin or theme?
